为强化学校师生的安全防范意识，提高自救互助能力，按照教育局统一要求，遂平瞿阳二小积极制定预案，并全力部署做好充分准备，于5月11日下午开展了逃生自救演练活动。本次活动主要由两个部分组成：一分钟课桌下防震演习活动及地震后的疏散演练。县公安局莲花湖有关领导受邀前来观看。

首先，由县公安局莲花湖派出所李警官给我校全体师生讲解校园暴力事件的安全防范的常识，李警官结合生活实际和生动事例，从有关安全知识，讲到面对安全事故出现的时候如何及时进行自护自救等，并亲自为孩子们上了一堂精彩的安全教育课

之后开始逃生自救安全演练，有四年级五个班的学生及六年级四个班的.学生——孩子们在教室里静静的学习，忽然信号员发出：“地震警报”信号。(学校铃声)同学们迅速拿起课本抱头,钻到课桌下,尽量蜷曲身体，降低身体重心，最后一排靠里的同学面向墙，蹲在墙角处。一分钟后，信号员发出“地震解除”信号(哨声)：老师告知学生，地震已过，现在撤离教室，进入紧急疏散演练环节。在教师的统一组织下，孩子们不着急、不慌乱，纷纷用书本遮捂头部，有序、快速地跑出教室，并按照预定的疏散路线，迅速撤离到事先指定的地点，成功进行了安全撤离。

通过这次防灾减灾的活动，师生的防灾减灾意识有了一定的提高，同时也培养了学生一切行动听从指挥和团结互助的品德。

地震发生了并不是就必死无疑，其实，还有很多自救的方法。例如：地震了，你被压在废墟的底下，这时候，你不要盲目乱动，要冷静，先把手抽出来，慢慢地挪动废墟，先保持呼吸顺畅，再想办法呼吸，喊人员来救你。如果发生地震时你在家里，必须马上钻到坚硬、并且没有倒塌的小房间中躲避，以免砸伤。还有，要贴着坚固的墙壁或找一个柔软的东西顶在头上，如：枕头。在房子倒塌后，再求生，要避免被弄伤。如果在野外，一定要避开陡崖，防止掉下山。还有要预防山体滑坡，以免滑下去。如果在学校，一定要听从老师的指挥，躲到课桌下，注意保护头部，如果在上体育课，要避免高大的建筑物，不要被砸伤。
