据当地人说，来泰山而不看日出将是件憾事。为了看日出，就得早起。夜里十二点，我就被妈妈叫醒了。睁着惺忪的睡眼，怀着兴奋的心情，我们先从天外村乘旅游大巴，来到中天门。然后从中天门开始徒步登山。开始一段山路，也许是山势比较平缓的，也许是盼望爬山的心情非常激动，我是一路欢声笑语，蹦蹦跳跳，可是随着山势的增高，我的两条腿开始渐渐重了起来，速度越来越慢，喘气越来越急。正在我喘息不定时，就听爷爷说泰山最险的十八盘到了。我抬头向上望去，只见这一段山路那么的高，那么的陡，真是让人望而生畏啊!但是，想到看日出，再看看身边那么多向上攀登的游人，我一咬牙，随着登山的人继续前进。爬着，爬着，我的脚板生疼，两腿发抖。抬头上望，直上直下，几乎就是九十度。再看我前面的妈妈就像踩在我的头顶上，回头看看爷爷奶奶又像是在我的脚下。这时我心里害怕极了，真想返身回家。爷爷好像看出了我的心思，拍拍我的头说：“孩子，爬呀!登泰山可不能爬累，更不能半途而废!你看，爷爷我都七十岁了还能爬呢!你一定行的!”说完，爷爷便一步一个台阶往上爬去。望着爷爷的背影，想着爷爷的话语，我的`脸红了。好在天黑，没人发现。我甩甩头，把怕和累都抛到九霄云外，一步一个台阶的数着，爬着，爬着，数着。汗流下来，我不管，脚发软打颤，我咬牙坚持，终于爬过了最难爬的泰山十八盘，来到了著名的南天门。我们跨过南天门，穿过天街，继续向泰山最高峰玉皇顶攀登。当我登上玉皇顶，站在“五岳独尊”的石柱前，俯视脚下群山时，才真正体会杜甫的名句“会当凌绝顶，一览众山小”的含义。

日出时间快到了，我们一家人随着人流来到山崖边，静静地等待着。只见天边的云不断地变化着色彩，橘红，火红，深红，浅红……各种红数也数不过来，说也说不出来。我们看着，等着，可是因为天气原因，太阳只露出了红红的小半边脸儿，就又躲到云层里不见了。

没能观赏到泰山的“旭日东升”奇观，真是遗憾极了，但是想到经过了努力，我终于登上了泰山的最高峰，领略到泰山的雄伟壮丽，仍然觉得十分自豪!

我们一会就到了泰山脚下，望着那陡峭的山峰，我不由的害怕起来。

“轩轩，敢爬吗?”爸爸一脸坏笑。

“当然敢，谁……谁说我不敢?”我一副不屑一顾的样子。

“呵呵!”

为了保存一些体力，晕车的我也不得不去坐车到中天门。到了中天门后，我像个小猴子一样乱蹦乱跳，哈哈，看来也不是很陡嘛!

过了一会儿，我爬累了，坐在地上拿出火腿肠、可乐，吃了起来。爸爸妈妈也坐了下来，欣赏着路旁的风景。腿都坐得麻了，一下子站了起来，走路都有点摇摇摇晃晃，差点摔了下去，幸好爸爸眼疾手快，一下子抱住了我。

走了大约两个小时，就到了十八盘。听说十八盘的路最陡了，今天我可要验证一下。事实果然如此，十八盘的路真陡啊!看上去就向一个稍微倾斜的天梯，摇摇晃晃。让我必须拉着爸爸妈妈的手，稍一松手我就吓出一身冷汗。望着走过的路，我心中不免有些自豪。

又过了几个小时，我们登上了南天门。

南天门可真热闹啊!熙熙攘攘的人群川流不息，我从泰山顶上极目远眺，大大小小的山峰都隐隐约约在我们的脚下了，真是“会当凌绝顶一览众山小”呀!

再向左边一看，有一座庙，爸爸说那就是玉皇庙，上面就是玉皇顶了。我们在玉皇顶上玩了几个小时，才恋恋不舍的下了山。

大家先从中天门开始出发吧，一会儿就到十八盘了。大家站在迎客松下，隐隐约约就可以看见十八盘。因为古人说：一叶障目，不见泰山。十八盘的台阶共1594级，高约400多米，可以说是泰山的脊梁。大约在25亿年前，有一次被地质学家称作泰山运动的造山运动中，古泰山第一次从一片汪洋中崛起，以后几度沧桑，泰山升起又沉没，沉没又升起，终于在3000万年前的'喜马拉雅山造山运动中，泰山最后形成了今天的模样。古老的造山运动造就了泰山南麓阶梯式上升的三个断裂带，最上一层从云步桥断带到极顶，海拔陡然上升了400多米，使得这一层地带与四周群峰产生强烈对比，犹如宝塔之刹，形成了东天一柱的气势。
